Win
With Beck
2001 Bay Thoroughbred Gelding
16.1+ hands
38 starts
$370,577 lifetime earnings
Win With Beck was a super racehorse earning money the hard
way. He retired sound and without major injury. This is
a big horse with big bone. Although easy to ride, he's still
a horse for a rider with some experience. Beck would probably
be suitable for any number of riding activities; fox hunting,
showing, pleasure, etc. Pedigree wise; Beck is by Personal
Flag, Private Account (Damascus) and out of a Leo Castelli
dam. This is a super horse who deserves a wonderful and
loving home. Beck was recently gelded and would need to
be kept away from mares. (April 08 arrived at NYHR.) ADOPT

Tommy
Bahama
1998 Dark Bay or Brown Thoroughbred Gelding
16 hands
2 tarts
$325 lifetime earnings
After showing no ability on the racetrack, a skinny Tommy
was rescued by a caring individual who found that he has
some natural ability as a jumper. Tommy was soon showing
Level 1 and Level 2 jumpers in Florida. Purchased by another
caring owner, Tommy continued life as a jumper before his
owner had a family tragedy and could no longer keep him.
He was donated to NYHR in hopes of finding him a new home.
Tommy is definitely a jumper and can be 'hot'. He moves
and acts like a jumper and would be very suitable for a
quiet yet confident rider. Tommy is sound and a nice horse
to be around. A good home is required. Tommy is by Kris
S. (Roberto) and out of a Lord Avie (Lord Gaylord) mare.

Mr.
T (ASPCA Horse #4)
1981 +/- Red Roan Quarter Horse Gelding
15.1h
Mr. T. and three other horses were seized by the ASPCA in
early 2006. Just recently, a judge signed an order of forfeiture
of the horses to the ASPCA and these three horses are now
available for adoption. All of the horses had been terribly
neglected and all were severely underweight. During the
last six or seven months at NYHR, the horses have thrived
and have put on much needed weight, are up to date on vaccinations,
and worming. Mr. T receives two Bute per day to help ease
the discomfort of some arthritis. Mr. T. would be suitable
for light riding with a small adult or a child. Mr. T. has
nice manners and is easy to handle. He lives in a paddock
and eats pelleted senior feed. This horse deserves a lovely
and caring home. If you are unable to provide a home for
Mr. T., please consider making a donation
to help with his care and upkeep. ADOPT

Raven H is a very, very nice horse. He was quite competitive
as a racehorse. His kind owners made the decision to retire
him from his race career due to some arthritic changes in
an ankle. With good care and some time off, Raven H should
become a very nice riding (show or pleasure) horse. Raven

Big
Bad Monster
2003 Chestnut Thoroughbred Gelding
15.2 1/2 hands
19 starts
$23,416 lifetime earnings
Big Bad Monster is just a pretty, pretty horse. He is recently
gelded and his adopter should keep him away from mares until
his hormones settle down. Big Bad Monster is a gentle horse,
he was kind even as a stud. And, he is very pretty with
a classic look. Big Bad Monster was retired from racing
due to a saucer fracture of his canon bone. His prognosis
is excellent and with some time off he should heal very
nicely. This horse should be a good choice for pleasure
and/or showing. His name has nothing to do with his disposition!!!
(August 07 arrived at NYHR.) Congratulations to Lena in
NY!

a good home. APS would be a good choice for a riding horse
or for a broodmare. APS is well bred. She's sired by Prime
Timber (Sultry Song) and is out of a Storm Bird (Northern

16 hands
18 starts
$79,833 lifetime earnings
Deelites Gold is a really pretty gelding. The photo doesn't
display his large barrel and well developed hind end. A

track. He was mostly a grass horse and should be a very
nice mover. Deelites Gold's pedigree includes many of racing
greats including; Damascus, Bold Ruler and Secretariat.
Deelites Gold was retired from racing due to a fractured
sesamoid. This injury should heal nicely with time and DG
should be suitable for a new life as a pleasure horse. Deelites

guy (there's nothing small about him). Deelites Gold deserves
a new and loving home. He should have many good years of
riding ahead of him. (Oct 06 arrived at NYHR.) Congratulations
